Meet Percy - Adoption Pending

Prior to coming to SSRI, Percy was a stray in a local shelter.. We soon learned how sweet natured this Springer mix is to be around.  He has the most wonderful facial expressions.  He will smile when he is happy and has the saddest eyes when he isn’t.  He’s approximately 5 to 6 years old and approximately 45 pounds.

Percy is well-mannered and is good with adults and children. He likes to snuggle and cuddle.  His quiet (seldom barks), soft-hearted personality is starting to shine through as he relaxes and knows he is safe. Percy loves his stuffed toys so much he doesn’t even tear them up!

Percy is house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, leash trained, rides well in a car and is good at the vet and the groomer. Percy loves other dogs. He met a cat in a carrier at the vet and did not react.. He has not been tested with living with a cat in the home.

Recently Percy was taken to an SSRI fundraising event and was the shining star. He greeted everyone with his precious smile and warm, soft eyes. Percy calmly hung out for most of the day watching his world go by. :)

Percy is up to date on his vaccinations and is ready to find his forever home.
