Meet Moose

Moose is my name and springing outa that outdoor kennel is now my game! I lived outside 24/7. I was around other dogs, horses and teenage kids, but rarely was I let out. When they did open the gate, I never ventured far or off property, but I never gotto run around long enough. I am 2 years old, 38 pounds, liver and white and Field bred.

I am very shy and timid meeting new humans. But it doesn’t take long before I’ll take that tasty morsel politely from your hand. After a little while I will stand close and let you pet me. And by mile marker #5, I laid my head on the shoulder of my Freedom Ride chauffer and let her scratch my ears the whole way. I even closed my eyes for a bit and calmed down. I loved riding in the truck, what a view!

I guess I got an A+ atthe vet even though I was shakin’ in my boots.

I am super smart and want to please. I learn fast but need work on leash walking, listen and learning commands, and when to signal I need to go potty outside.

Will you teach me how to be an inside dog? I’ll fit right in. I’ve already proven I’m a true Velcro Springer (just look at my photos!). I’ll be your snuggle buddy and go on lots of adventures with you! I would be a good hiking or running partner, like being outside, and LOVE to swim! When I see birds sometimes I chase but lose interest quickly. I don’t know what to do with them anyway. I would need a secure fenced yard and lots of exercise.

I’m so happy I got to put that dirt floor jail cell in the rearview mirror! Please consider fostering me, or fostering to adopt. I am located in Salt Lake City. You can fill out an application using the link below.
