Adopted - Meet Mando

Mando, a sweet and crazy (aren't they all?????) almost two year old English Cocker. (Hmm, seems like we have a cocker theme going this month). He is up to date on shots, house trained, neutered and papered.

Mando is located in the Seattle area and is looking for a home where he will be put to work. He comes from hunting stock and he needs a job! He needs to be kept busy and get enough exercise. He has unbounding energy and stamina and will chew on just about anything. A tired dog is a good dog! He needs an active home where activity is throughout the day, not just once or twice a day. 

He loves loves loves kids and other dogs. Occasionally a playmate comes over and Mando wears him out even though they are the same age and the other dog is a goldendoodle. He has not been cat tested; however, I think if a cat puts him in his place, it will probably work. He needs room to run, so no apartments or condos.

He is very needy as he doesn't receive the attention that he wants and deserves, but once his confidence is built up this should abate.

Aside from all of that, everyone falls in love with this boy once they get to know him. There is just an energy about him that really connects with people. It is kind of magical, but everyone who meets him seems to fall in love with him. I think a farm home with a dog companion would be great as long as he has a job or the person is willing to train him to do a job. This breed specifically needs all positive training methods, so adopter will have to be committed to that. I can tell that he really wants to bond and please people; he just has not had the opportunity to do that.
