Meet Stache - Adopted

Hi, I’m ‘Stache and I’m looking for my forever home.  My dad passed away and I’ve been staying with friends but they say I can’t stay here forever, that I need something called a “forever home”.  I get along with all the other dogs in the house but rarely want to play with them, I just want human attention.  I’m totally fine being by myself too, I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I’m rather easy going.  What I would like:  a home where I get attention and play catch at least several times a day.  I am not picky and take what I can get.  My current mom just chucks the ball down the hall several times while cooking and that’s all that it takes to make me happy.  I love treats and will do anything for food- but who doesn’t.  This mom has been trying to teach me to walk on this thing she calls a leash, I’m doing ok but still like to pull.  She’s sure time and patience will solve this but I don’t even know what this means.  Oh and I turn 7 on April 19. What a gift it would be to have my very own family for my birthday!

So here is a list of what I like and don’t like:

Likes: Car rides, Treats, Attention, Playing catch, Netflix and Chill, Walks, A spot on the bed- although I’m ok on the floor too

Dislikes: Cats- I can’t stop chasing them.  My mom says I may have this problem with other small animals but we haven’t met any others on my stay with her.
