Meet Forrest & Pepper - Adopted
Hello Springer lovers, Pepper and Forrest here, and this is our story. Changing life circumstances made it necessary for us to ask SSRI to find a new forever home. We grew up and lived together in our previous home for 8 years, and we are a bonded pair and love each other a lot.
We went to a training facility for a few days to be evaluated and passed with flying colors. Our foster mom picked us up, and we have been here for 4 days and have settled in really nicely.
We have been at our foster mom for a week now and have made friends with Annie, her English Springer Spaniel. We so much look forward to feeding times, spend our time checking out the birds and squirrels in the backyard, taking naps after playing hard chasing Annie around the house. We are glad to be here, but are really hoping that some nice people will want to make us their own and adopt us. Our foster mom says that we are the best behaved fosters she has ever had!
Not to brag about ourselves, but this is what foster mom has to say about us:
Pepper, the female Aussie Collie mix, and Forrest, the male English Springer Spaniel, are an absolute delight to foster. Both are very well mannered, are fun to watch play with their toys or running around chasing each other, but also love just laying around sleeping. Having lost their home after so many years, they initially needed a lot of affection and reassurance, and are very loveable. Since they are so bonded, they need to be the only dogs in a home with older children and adults, where they are loved and cared for and can thrive like the wonderful dogs they truly are.
